They cancelled a prescheduled estimate by text on a Sunday for a Monday estimate meeting, simply because they wanted more information to be used in a high pressure sells technique. Instead of letting pricing and product win the bid. They wanted to use sells tricks is the only conclusion I can come too. Do not trust them. Keep in mind I called in and provided all the pertinent details prior.

My wife and I went to the annual Home and Garden Show in Greenville, SC Feb. 27, 2026. We are in need of windows for entire house. Spent about 20 minutes talking to the sales rep at the Renewal by Andersen booth. And set up a visit for that next Monday, Mar. 2 at 2PM. Literally 3 days later. And does anyone show up? No. Do we get a call? No. And the sales guy was adamant that both my wife and I had to be there so we ensured our schedule was free and we waited that afternoon for someone to show. But to this day, Mar. 8, still no show and no call. Could I have called them? Yes but there are too many window companies who truly want our business for me to waste my time calling them asking why no one showed up 3 days after scheduling at an annual home and garden show.

This company took advantage of my 78YO hard of hearing dad. My dad answered the door of a door to door salesman, it was a Renewal by Anderson sales rep, my dad agreed to purchase 5 new windows. My dad thought he was financing with RBA but instead got an email from a finance company based in California that charges 29.5% interest! We tried to pay off the loan in full to avoid the interest and the company's website will not let us pay it in full. It is a trap for this company to make money through the interest rate. I am furious with RBA and their sales rep. How could you do this to an elderly man? DO NOT TRUST this company to finance you directly! They use an outrageously high interest rate 3rd party company. Deplorable and deceitful. Horrible.

We had two of our three exterior doors replaced. Unfortunately now we have to use 3 different keys. That's right, not even the Andersen doors can have keys that match. We were told by Andersen, that there is nothing that can be done. With the top level price we paid, I feel like this is ridiculous. I have since researched that this is due to them changing hardware brands to the absolute cheapest available. And now we are stuck with it, because if you change or alter the doors on your own, you violate their highly advertised warranty. Certainly glad I waited to see how the doors went before I committed to windows. I can't imagine the mess that's involved there. Super sad, as I thought I was buying a premium product.

We had 4 windows replaced with triple pane.. They were touted to be custom fit, installed by experienced experts. They were all the same size, and there large gaps on all the windows up to 3/4 inch. When the wind blows the curtains blows around two windows They caulked with white when I had tan on hand that would match my house - they refused to use it. It was very difficult to paint - 4 coats. The caulking job itself was so poorly done - my 12-yr-old grandson would have done better. No way to fix that. They damaged a marble window sill when removing old window (company offered to fix, but not a chance I'll allow them in my home ever again). The installers happened to mention, as they were leaving, that this was the first time they had ever installed these type of windows.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I’ve been extremely disappointed with Renewal by Andersen’s lack of communication and follow-through after our installation. During installation, the crew cut our alarm wires even though we had taped them to the walls and clearly pointed them out beforehand which caused a short in the system and required repairs. On top of that, when the windows were originally designed, we were never informed that the new widths would interfere with our existing blinds. This oversight resulted in nearly $4,000 in unexpected replacement costs and alarm repairs. After installation, a representative came to our home and documented several finishing items that needed to be corrected (glue on the windows, stucco patching, etc.). However, as of today (two months since install), I still have not received a response to numerous calls and emails asking when this finish work will be completed. No follow-through and no updates. The windows themselves are great, but the customer experience has been disappointing. A company at this price point should communicate proactively, stand behind its work, and complete the job.....none of which has happened in this case. I hope Renewal by Andersen improves its service, because the lack of accountability and responsiveness has been extremely frustrating.

I’m tired of people trying to take advantage of the elderly. My dad had a cracked window from a tree branch knocking it. He called Andersen, and was quoted several thousand dollars with a $1800 deposit to fix one small pane. Luckily I was able to intercept this transaction and called to have a reputable local glass company build and replace his window for $350. The Andersen salesman was beyond corrupt in my opinion.
