Window & Door Replacement in Cincinnati, OH

I would not recommend Renewal by Andersen of Cincinnati based on my experience. I want to make an important distinction: the installation crews were largely the best part of this project. They were generally professional, worked hard, and appeared to be doing their best with the situation they had been handed. There are still workmanship items that need attention, including scratches, siding issues, some installation concerns, and cleanup that could have been better, but the crews themselves are not the primary reason for this review. The major failures were in sales, management, communication, and follow-through. Commitments and representations changed throughout the project, expectations were repeatedly set and then not met, and I experienced several management interactions that I considered inappropriate and unprofessional. At one point, a “master tech” was brought in and substantial assurances were made about correcting the project and providing the “white glove” experience I had been promised. That person was only on site for one day and was not present to ensure those promises were actually fulfilled. Instead, much of the responsibility for ultimately finishing the project fell on a family installation crew traveling approximately 2.5 hours each way from Indiana. To my knowledge, they were not provided accommodations near the project. They still worked hard and remained professional. It is difficult to fault that crew for not accomplishing even more when management put them in that position. Renewal by Andersen sells itself as a premium, full-service experience. At a premium price, I expected more than the windows themselves: I expected competent project management, clear and accurate communication, accountability, and someone ensuring the finished project matched what had been promised. That is where this experience failed most significantly. I gave the installation crew very high marks on Renewal by Andersen's own survey. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the company experience surrounding them. My siding was finished in June, RBA scratched and damaged panels, didn't reinstall the j-channel under the bay window correctly (I do have a pre-photo of that too), and scratched the new doors they installed. There is no touch up paint or anything left. Areas of metal they wrapped are already scratched up.... But the bigger issues are the outstanding ones with management. Did I mention they missed an entire window by the front entry door? 3-6 more weeks until that's here.

Logan Kinstle, our Anderson sales representative was very personable and professional. He clearly explained all the design and construction features of the Anderson windows and was very helpful in recommending window options for specific locations in our home. Logan was able to answering all of our questions regarding the installation process. Justin Olds worked with Logan Kistle, our Design consultant, to make, verify and document all the final measurements for my replacement windows. They were able to accomplish this using a live video feed during the initial consultation with our Anderson design consultant. I loved this process. It made scheduling a second visit with an Anderson measurement team unnecessary and facilitated the process of getting our custom window order submitted to their factory. Justin was pleasant to work with; he thoroughly went over everything regarding our window replacement project and associated contractual agreements. I I was initially given 12-to-16-week lead time for my window installation, but my scheduled install date is only ten weeks out. So far, this entire process of buying new replacement widows from Anderson has been exceptional. I chose Anderson Windows because I know they provide a quality product. But the product is only as good as the actual installation of the new windows. Based on my experience so far, I am very optimist that the install process will be exceptional as well. Stay tuned for future updates. My Andersen windows were installed on Tuesday August 24, 2026. I could not be happier. As expected the contractor doing the window installation did a fantastic job. The four man crew removed and installed 11 windows in just 4 hours. They did a thorough and professional job. Well done Andersen!

We had an exceptional experience with our design consultant, Justin, as well as our measurement tech, Jonathan. I was very concerned because our current door was inoperable. However, Jonathan showed up to do final measurements, make necessary suggestions in a way that was understandable and we are so looking forward to our new, beautiful, secure and weather tight basement door. Jonathan from Renewal by Anderson measured my sliding glass door today so he can go ahead and have the office order a new one. He was very professional and thorough. He explained the procedure and confirmed all the colors I had selected previously with my salesman. He got done with his other appointment early, and he called me and texted me to see if he could come early, and I appreciated the courtesy. Looking forward to my new sliding glass door.
