The entire process purchasing a new patio door through “Renewal by Anderson” was very enjoyable. My sales rep Neil Daniels was very professional and accurate in explaining my options and took time to make sure I had enough information to make my decision. door to.door Sales people of Renewal by Anderson completely disregard no solicitation notifications, and did not obtain appropriate solicitation permits in Grove City.
I wouldn't recommend. This has been a bad experience from the start. The day before install I was given an install time of 12pm. I work night shift in the hospital so I had to set my alarm to get up for the install. The day of they called me multiple times while I was sleeping and were trying to tell me install was moved to 8am. They ended up calling me twice in a row and the call came through and they tried telling me that they weren't coming anymore that day since my time was moved. After complaining they said they could squeeze me in that afternoon. I paid $14K to have a new back door installed. Which to me is a lot of money for a door. After installation I found that all the hardware was chipped and damaged. The trim that was installed was also covered in scuff marks and damaged. The nail holes and joints were also not filled in. It looked like an amateur job. I was told that it would take a month before they could get someone out for the fixes. This was a couple weeks ago. The handle has now fallen off of the door. I called back and they said it will still take a couple more weeks and that I should feel lucky because it is taking other people longer. I feel that if you are paying that much and renewal by Anderson prides themselves on excellence then this is unacceptable. I wasn't even provided any sort of compensation. They said that is what the warranty is for. That is fine if the was a failure in the product. But all my issues have been due to poor insulation. I am very frustrated and they didn't really seem to care. The response proves the lack of care. Defending their actions instead of taking ownership. Very disappointing.

Hi Nathan - we are sorry for the change in scheduling but we appreciate you having us out later in the day than originally planned. When we spoke with you yesterday we offered to have service out that day or the following but you declined, saying the handle had been put back on and there was no need. The replacement hardware has been ordered and it should be here on the 22nd. We have you scheduled for service on the 24th and we will be in touch to confirm your appointment when we get closer to your scheduled day. Again, we do apologize for the issues - this is not the experience we ever want to deliver to our homeowners and we will get this resolved ASAP.
We could not have been happier with the whole process for our window and door replacements, and the addition of 4 new windows! The crew was professional and cleaned up every day. Having new windows has been a revelation- the insulation from super hot summer temps is awesome, and the quiet in the house is amazing. Such quality and professionalism was refreshing and appreciated! We were fortunate to work with Matt on the sales team, and John on the installation crew - both extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and trustworthy!

I'm very satisfied with our new windows and door. I have noticed that regardless of how hot it has been outside, it has remained quite comfortable inside. The air conditioner has ran less than it did before we had the windows and door installed. Jon did an awesome job of explaining the mechanics of the windows and door manufacturing process and function. The installers were professional and quick, and I have nothing but praise for them. The cost was a little pricey, but so far I am very pleased with the results and believe that the benefits from the new windows and door were worth the investment.

Tyler came out to give us some information on a potential window project. Doing the whole house at once is a tall order but Tyler suggested a few options we hadn’t considered. Tyler was very helpful and we highly recommend him
