Everyone I have come into contact with at Andersen has been extremely professional, detail oriented, and helpful. Even though they are expensive, I think they are the best in the business and Iām glad I chose them to replace my 75-year-old windows. Both of the Larrys I worked with were great.

Purchased 2 "custom" sliding glass doors. The doors were to open on the right side. When the doors (including the screen doors) were installed we noticed that holes were predrilled to open either left or right. These holes had to be covered up with metal plates that are visible. The extra holes and plates were not visible in the pictures we were shown when the purchase was made. I do not consider these custom doors. Installers were great and work with us to customize the door frames in order to fit between the window on the sides of the doors.

The window components (sash, frame and trim) are obviously 3 different color. One visitor thought I had chosen "striped" windows on purpose. They are saying nothing can be done about. The frame i was shown at the sale was small, "this is what it will look like." The actual frames are quite bulky. I lost nearly 25% of my glass area. I lost my window sills. Now then windows are too shallow to hang blinds (<1.4"). When I complained the local office responded with conflicting information and in some cases bullying. Expensive and hard to communicate with tho company. Big mistake!
