The header/footer beams they installed in my house are covered in mold, and they installed them like this. They don’t bother using clean, dry wood and don’t seem to fully understand that mold causes serious health issues. No one wants to pay thousands of dollars for a contractor to install moldy wood in their home. It looks like the pieces they used were pulled out of a scrap pile that had been sitting in the rain. They also didn’t even bother to caulk all the windows or properly attach the flashing, leaving large gaps for moisture and insects to enter.

My experience from the beginning to now has been awful and I regret hiring this company. First they got the color of the windows incorrect in one room, I didn’t realize this until they had already cut the holes in the side of my house though, so they had to install the wrong ones and I had to deal with a second installation day months later for them to come back to install the correct color windows. In another room, they changed the size of a very large window I ordered without bothering to ask me if this was okay (going smaller than what I wanted) and then installed it off-centered. The window that was being replaced was centered on the wall, so I’m not sure why they would think I would want the new window to be off-centered. I had to deal with a third installation day for this to be fixed. During that installation, the crew started a fire in my kitchen by turning my stovetop on with their foot while on the counter installing the window, which lit the hoodie that was sitting on the stovetop on fire. Now I have discovered the header/footer beams they installed in my house are covered in mold, and they installed them like this! This is not proper installation because they are all the same windows so they should all be installed the same way.

We had a screen that was in need of repair and had the best experience with Hitch, he communicated his arrival time and showed up on time. He was a true professional and we are so grateful for him and the Anderson team!
