The installer was here to add a peep hole and new door lock (to match the existing hardware). He did a fabulous job. He called to advise that he was on his way, did a beautiful install and cleaned the area when done. A very pleasant fellow, and very professional. Well done!

From the salesperson to my customer care representative and certainly with regard to the installation team, everyone I encountered at Renewal by Anderson was personable, knowledgeable, and totally professional in their interactions with me. In terms of the culture of the company, the absence of a "hard sell" mentality was particularly noteworthy. Equally as important, every individual on the installation was laser focused on attention to detail and the pursuit of perfection, thus ensuring that the job was done once and done right the first time. I would highly recommend this company to any potential customer.

We were extremely pleased with the team that installed our door and windows. Dean, Dusty, Brian, PJ, Moriah, Rocky, Paula and Michelle payed close attention to both the installation and the final clean up. Plus, they were pleasant and had great attitudes! Unfortunately, since the installation we have discovered that the heighth of the threshold has created a tripping hazard, which is a great concern for us. Our salesman Scott was very helpful to cover our options, explain the products that would be used and the process for installation. However, we were very disappointed about being forced to make a decision by the end of the day. With a purchase that big, any buyer should be given a reasonable amount of time to make their decision. Billie who was our contact for the job, did a great job of keeping us updated on dates and arrival time for installation. PLUS, she answered our various other random questions! Finally, we could not have been more pleased with Miguel's stain work! Nice job, Miguel! And Ryan kept us informed throughout that process.

The technician that fixed our door sweep, Parker, did a great job. He was innovative in finding a way to remove the broken screws and stubborn damaged part. Furthermore he was professional and efficient but sociable and friendly. I enjoyed the interaction and appreciate having our door repaired.

The sales representative was very helpful in deciding which windows would best suit our needs. He didn’t try to upsell anything and we had 3 windows that we didn’t replace since they were working well. The installation crew was courteous and careful with our property. And did a great job with cleanup.

Gardner, Kansas. 3pm today. I have a large, visible "NO SOLICITING" sign right above the door bell, yet TWO of your employees insisted on ringing it anyway (AND knocking). I confronted them about it, pointed out the sign AGAIN (this wasn't the 1st time you had door to door salespeople trying to solicit business from me) and AGAIN I asked them if they saw the sign (yes) and if they understood what it meant (yes) but they willfully did it, anyway. WHY would I want to do business with anyone like that? If you're going to be rude and disrespectful of people and blatantly ignore NO SOLICITING sign, I have zero interest in your company. BTW: It goes against Gardner city code and you could be fined for ignoring the signs. Maybe a fine is exactly what you all need to STOP doing it?!? Train your employees better!
Renewal by Andersen of Kansas City replied on Apr 15, 2026:
Thank you for your feedback — we truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We sincerely apologize for the frustration this experience caused. We take “No Soliciting” signage seriously, and this is not the experience we want anyone to have with our team.
To clarify, our representatives in the area are not selling products door-to-door. Because we have completed work in your neighborhood, they are there to introduce our company and offer homeowners the opportunity to schedule a free consultation at a later time if there is interest. That said, your feedback makes it clear we missed the mark in this interaction.
We are addressing this directly with our team to reinforce expectations around respecting signage and ensuring every interaction reflects the professionalism and respect we expect.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention — it helps us improve

I wasn’t going to write a review but after I learned the glass used in our windows doesn’t match the U-factor necessary for our region to receive any tax credits I must. Let me start by saying our process began in December of 24. Our sales guy was awesome and didn’t over sell what we needed. We were told 6-8 weeks for install date and true to that our install date was set for the first week of February 25. We were guaranteed a one day install and that was a huge factor in our deciding process because who wants a weeks or months long process. That didn’t happen. On install day one window was made the wrong color and another the wrong size. A month later they returned to install the replacements but only had the wrong color window and it was the wrong color again. A month later they are back again, the wrong sized window was installed with the correct size and again the wrong color window was sent in the wrong color. We also had a screen that wa damaged during install and while it had been documented no replacement screen showed any of these trips. Yet another guy shows to replace the window which is the wrong color with the wrong color again and no screen. He’s pretty embarrassed, found the screen and drove back to Lenexa and brought it up to install. Finally on August 6th, 6 months after the project was started a crew finally got the correct color of window installed. As to the guaranteed one day install, I looked for some relief and after a bit of back and forth I got it. I will say the crews that came to do all the installs were very professional, neat and tidy and did efficient installs with excellent craftsmanship and the windows are too notc. Today, my tax guys says the windows installed don’t meet the criteria for the Missouri region for Energy Star tax credits because they used glass rated for the South Central region and not the North Central region which is where Missouri is. That was the last straw and will not ever use them again as they clearly aren’t the experts in windows.
