I wasn't sure what to expect when Ken came to the house to measure my windows. Things had to be moved out of his way and the house was a total mess. But I have to say that it was a very enjoyable experience for me. Ken was extremely polite and courteous. It was a joy to talk with Ken as he measured my doors and windows. I had a lot of questions about what I had to do to get ready for the install and Ken took the time to go over every detail and explained exactly what I needed to do to get ready for it. He also answered every question I had about the doors and windows. He did this while he was quickly and very efficiently measuring my windows and doors. Ken not only treated me like a friend, he made the whole experience very pleasant.

The rep called me 2.5 hours before my appointment asking if he could come early. I was all for it. He arrived 75 minutes early and was at my house just an hour. He was very polite, friendly and informative. I feel good about him overseeing the installation of my windows.

I made an appointment online for Texas. Someone from a call center from MASSACHUSETTS called to verify the appointment. One question was about ownership of the home. He said " the reason I ask is because when I pull the house up a different owner is shown"... I said "it's my husband" (we've been together for 30 years, and I'm a dude too).. . "I should be listed too, and if not, your record source is incorrect". He asked if he (my husband) "called in under a different name before?"... it was all VERY unprofessional, and VERY invasive. I canceled the appointment. Then I called your local number listed on Google... she lied, and wouldn't confirm she was an outsourced call center too... it was all very disingenuous.

Everything about Renewal by Andersen was very positive. The sales rep was thorough and not at all pushy. Very professional and knowledgeable as well as personable. After ordering the door as he designed it, we had a wait of several months for the door to be delivered and installed. However, we were not in a hurry for it. The installation went perfectly. The crew leader introduced everyone. I was surprised at how quickly they removed the old doors and installed the new door! Cleanup was eccellent, too. My only comment is that you should be ready for an VERY expensive cost. I would advise you to wait several days before making the decision to sign the contract. I was very surprised at the cost. The 18-months interest-free option would be good if you were planning to pay the door out with the credit company they use. The door is definitely beautiful and great quality, but if I had waited a few days before making the decision, I would have looked for a less expensive option.
