Cesare with Renewal by Andersen was great!! I had my new slider installed and a few things had needed some follow up, including the baseboard being slightly off measurement and he made a new one on the spot. He was so nice and professional. Also had checked the overall original install and made an adjustment so the slider glided easier. Thanks Cesare!

Irvin Jimenez and crew did an excellent job on window replacement. They were neat and tidy.

We spent over 36k on windows and sliding glass doors with this company. In summary, their products and/or manufacturing are terrible quality and their customer service and/or technician teams are completely incompetent. Work with them at your own risk, but you have been warned. For specifics.... After a year, the window screens started bubbling up (see pictures). That should tell you straight away that their claims of ‘high quality’ are false. Given that they are under warranty, we contacted customer service. Per their request, on 2/25 we sent customer service pictures of the barcodes of the window screens and measurements for the screens that needed replacement. On 4/15, someone came out with one correctly sized replacement screen and three incorrect ones. That person shook his head, apologized, and seemed both competent enough and extremely confident about the correct screen sizes needed and was to help order the new screens. Today, 7/17, I took more time off work to meet a technician who we expected to deliver and install the new screens that should have been ordered back on 2/25. Instead, this rep was here to again determine the correct screen size. Also note that we had a separate issue with the sliding doors, where technicians came out twice to fix the a plastic piece that falls off, resulting in the screens falling completely off the doors and slamming onto the deck. One screen actually fell on top of a guest we had over during a party. Not harmful, but would you be embarrassed by that? We certainly were. Save yourself a ton of money and just get windows and screens from Home Depot or Lowe's or something. They don't take nearly as long to order and install them, and they are also under warranty.

Renewal by Andersen of San Diego (RbA-SD) installed two beautiful sliding glass doors for us ... thoughtfully designed, solid, well-built ... and the install team was polite, professional, & courteous, as was the initial salesmen, who cold-called at our front door, and also met in our home to discuss options and close the sale. Everyone was great. But with any construction or renovation projects, we've come to understand throughout the years, that there can be glitches that need addressing. And, we've also learned that once a company gets their check, suddenly you can find a MIA customer care team that ghosts you. NOT SO with RbA-SD! Even though some of the glitches were minor, they treated us like we were still important to them, and gave us MORE 5-star service...from the front desk phones, to the customer care team, to offering above and beyond options and suggestion -- lots of appreciated hand-holding through it all. It culminated today when they sent out their specialty craftsman Victor Palencia to finalize it all with a few minor tweaks and adjustments, whose work and craftsmanship brought the final install up to 100%, 5-stars, A+++ satisfaction! All concerns resolved. A big TY to all at RbA-SD who touched our job in both big and small ways.
