I have buyers remorse for my single glass patio door. After paying an exorbitant amount and living 45 days with it I have encountered a number of regrettable features of the door. There is no way to hang blinds or shades on the door to block the sun or for privacy without compromising the warranty. The handles stick out so far they obstruct the fall of any window treatments I have tried. Their representatives suggested hanging window treatments above the door or frame but each time I open the door it crashes into the blinds that don't move with the door. The same representative also suggested adhesive mounts but they would also compromise the coating on the door. I have researched window films but they would trap heat in the glass and was not recommended. The exterior of the door frame is too shallow to install a mesh screen door solution and would require an entire new frame or replace the frame compromising the door warranty. I am at a loss and wish I hadn't purchased this door.

We hired Replacement by Andersen to replace 17 windows in the summer of 2026. The windows were expensive, and we had a little bit of sticker shock, but now that they are installed, we are very happy. The whole process was handled very professionally from the beginning of the sales process, through purchase, measurement, installation and follow up. The crew they sent were courteous, clean and efficient; the foreman, Danny, proactively communicated with us the entire time. The windows look great and operate smoothly. Best of all, we are definitely noticing the benefits that the salesman promised: our upstairs rooms are MUCH cooler and quieter with the new windows. The difference is very noticeable. My husband and I would definitely recommend Renewal by Andersen.
