Hurricane-rated patio doors, in particular, are designed to meet demanding impact-resistance and wind-load requirements, which can involve specialized materials, reinforced construction, testing, and manufacturing processes. The total project cost also reflects professional installation, labor, and the expertise required to ensure the door is properly fitted and performs as intended. We understand, however, that even when a product offers these benefits, customers must feel that the price is fair and that its value was clearly communicated before making a purchase.

Regarding your cancellation request, we understand your frustration and regret that the outcome did not meet your expectations. The applicable cancellation period is determined by the terms of the agreement with your Design Consultant and the relevant cancellation policy, including how business days are defined. Saturdays are counted as business days under certain contractual or company policies, even though many customers may reasonably associate business days with Monday through Friday. The timing of the request in relation to the applicable deadline, along with the terms acknowledged at the time of purchase, determines whether an order can be cancelled. Once an order has progressed into processing, custom manufacturing, or other committed project stages, cancellation may also be subject to contractual restrictions and costs.
