Renewal by Andersen Receives 2016 Progress Minnesota Award
It’s an exciting time here at Renewal by Andersen—a new year, a new addition to our corporate office, a new plant expansion update…and now a new award to feature in our trophy case. Renewal by Andersen was named to Progress Minnesota’s 2016 list of companies driving business growth and economic development in innovative ways.
For four years, Finance & Commerce’s Progress Minnesota program has been recognizing individuals and businesses who work hard to create jobs and positively impact business development and Minnesota’s overall economic health. The entire team at Renewal by Andersen is proud to hear of our recognition for doing just that! Prior to our groundbreaking in Cottage Grove, Governor Mark Dayton attended the announcement for our 125,000 sq. ft. plant expansion project, as well as Andersen’s North Branch plant upgrade at Andersen Corporate in Bayport. “You once again have shown why Minnesota is the place to live, work, and expand a business. It’s because of your dedication, productivity, and hard work,” Dayton said of these recent projects. Our plant expansion in Cottage Grove is projected to create around 200 jobs.

Among those named to this list are 28 other individuals, companies, organizations and institutions in Minnesota, including Louis Jambois, President of the St. Paul Port Authority and the recipient of Progress Minnesota’s 2016 Lifetime Achievement award. We’re honored to be surrounded by great companies.
